Kakuja

In the anime Tokyo Ghoul, a kakuja is a rare result of a Ghoul cannibalizing repeatedly.

In Ro-Ghoul, a kakuja is a type of ghoul that has a evolved its kagune into a form which clads part or all of the ghoul's body. Though it is rare, it can occur through repeated cannibalization, because of the high amount of RC Cells that are ingested. A kakuja can further evolve by continuing to cannibalize ghouls.

Using a kakuja kagune can be difficult for some players, because the experience can be jarring, with recurring screen-shaking effects and occasionally hearing creepy words spoken while using the kakuja in combat.

CCG players can wear a similar kakuja called Arata.
