Hinami's kagune is a chimera kagune which is a combination of a rinkaku and koukaku kagune. The Koukaku kagune resembles two flowers petals that act as shields protecting the user. The Rinkaku kagune takes the shape of flexible spines acting as the primary weapon for this kagune.
Stages[]
There are currently two stages to Hinami's kagune in Ro-Ghoul.
Stage 1[]
This stage is the first stage of the Kagune. The stage has two petal-shaped koukakus and two rinkaku spines. Within the petals are spots that use the player's second color. The backs of the rinkaku spines do not connect, creating a fractured and cracking effect while the front has small circular holes that expose the interior where the secondary color is visible.
- Passive:
- Block: Toggleable and able to still act while blocking such as dashing and attacking. 75% damage reduction and unbreakable. Blocking has an endurance bar.

Stage 2[]
This stage is the second stage of the Kagune. In this stage, you have 4 kakuhou sacs that allow for the creation of four petals and four spines. In this stage, the wings lose their neon glow but retain the circular sections in them. The rinkaku tendrills in this form take on a tube-like segmentation and the openings expose fibers that are close to muscle fibers and the tube-like kagune sections wield spikes that closely resemble thorns or bramble and reveal the same fibers connecting them. The Spines end with one large spike that the user uses to impale opponents. All together this creates the second stage of Hinami's kagune, a chimera capable of defense and offense.
